The library now has T-Mobile hotspots at every branch. The hotspots were partially financed with IMLS CARES Act funds through the Library
of Michigan. There are 64 units that allow users to access Wi-Fi anywhere they go. The T9 units can connect up to five devices, and a fully charged
battery will last for about seven hours of average use. They can be found in the library catalog, and they can be checked out for two weeks at a
time by users who are 18 or over and are in good standing. The units were set up to help library users who don’t have access to Wi-Fi. Please check with your nearest branch for further lending information and for availability.
• Hotspots check out for 14 days.
• They will be deactivated once overdue.
•Hotspots will be limited to one per address.
• These hotspots are reliant on cell phone towers serviced by the T-Mobile network. Most areas in St. Clair County are covered, but we cannot make any guarantees regarding service.
• Hotspots should remain in a temperature-controlled environment. Please do not leave the device in your car.
